Nikosz Fokasz is a Greek-Hungarian and Hungarian-Greek sociologist, Full Professor at Eötvös Loránd University, Department of Sociology, Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and Honorary Doctor of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. On October 6, 2022, he turns 70 years old. The editors of the present volume are convinced that if anyone deserves to have their birthday celebrated in such a dignified way, it is Nikosz. He is a colleague, a teacher, a mentor, a friend, and last but not least, a constructive, candid, and critical debate partner of many social scientists in Hungary, in Greece, and all over the world. The contributors of the present volume sincerely wish Nikosz a happy birthday and plenty of creative years!
